Do you accept insurance?
Zaretsky Wellness is an out-of-network practice and does not participate with insurance plans. Insurance-related documentation applies to counseling services only. Clients who receive counseling services may request a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
A superbill is an itemized statement that includes the information insurance companies typically require for out-of-network mental health reimbursement.
Superbills are not provided for hypnotherapy, coaching, or consulting.
Helpful questions to ask your insurance company may include:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- Is there a deductible I must meet first?
- What percentage of sessions are reimbursed?
- Do I need prior authorization or a referral?
Operating as an out-of-network practice allows for high level, individualized, flexible, and holistic care tailored to each client's unique needs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, checks, and cash. Payment information is securely stored through the client portal.
What is your cancellation policy?
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or appointment changes. Late cancellations or missed sessions are subject to a fee, with exceptions considered for emergencies or extenuating situations. Exceptions may be considered for emergencies or extenuating circumstances.
Do you offer virtual sessions or in-person appointments?
Yes. Zaretsky Wellness offers in person and virtual sessions in New York. Virtual therapy is offered in New York, Florida, and South Carolina.
Hypnotherapy, coaching, and consulting are available virtually from any location.
What types of clients do you work with?
Zaretsky Wellness serves children, adolescents, adults, and families seeking support with feeling stuck, burnout, confidence, self-esteem, self-connection, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, work and family demands, personal growth, and life transitions.
The practice also has extensive experience supporting gifted, twice-exceptional (2e), neurodivergent, high-achieving, creative, and innovative individuals, as well as those with learning differences.
In addition, Zaretsky Wellness provides support and training for educators, leaders, and executives on the intersection of mind, learning, cognition, functioning, behavior, and mental health to strengthen the environments that shape learning, performance, and wellbeing.
